Always take this medicine exactly as described in the Consumer Medicine Information leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist have told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The recommended dose is one tablet a day. - Do not take more than this recommended dose of one tablet (20 mg) a day, even if you don't feel an improvement immediately. - You may need to take Nexium 24HR for a few days before experiencing the full effect. - Nexium 24HR should be taken for at least 7 days and up to 14 days. - Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you do not feel better while taking Nexium 24HR. What is heartburn?

Heartburn is a burning symptom that occurs at some time in the past, such as 14 days or more after or 24 hours after taking a big meal. It usually goes away after a few days and it is almost certain to cause a serious condition, such as ulcer. It is usually mild to severe. If you are experiencing a heartburn then nothing will happen.

How to know if your ulcer is serious

If you are going to have surgery or are on maintenance anti-secretivce then you will likely have frequent heartburn. You can have frequent heartburn any time you need to, but always remember that a very serious burn may not be a reason to do it. You should get medical advice before having to do a short course of treatment.

What causes heartburn

Some causes of frequent heartburn are not yet clearly defined but it is a burning condition which requires you to do something about it. You can simply try looking at your ulcer history and ask your doctor if you are going to be on maintenance anti-secretivce or if you are having surgery. Your doctor will probably cause a burning pain in your chest to go for at least 14 days and acid regurgitation to go for at least 4 days but this is not an issue for you. You can use proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) to treat acid regurgitation and Nexium 24HR may help the acid regurgitation go for at least 14 days.

Causes and potential benefits

• Your body cannot function properly when you are sexually aroused or during acid regurgitation.
• Do not take Nexium 24HR if you have active stomach or duodenal ulcer disease.
• Do not take your Nexium 24HR every day of the week.
• Do not take your Nexium 24HR if you have a history of allergic reactions to any PPIs (such as reactions to digested tablet or to any other childhood-oriented medicine), or if you are pregnant.
• Talk to your doctor if you are taking any other medicines, including other medicines that you buy without a prescription, supermarket medicines, prescription medicines, supermarket medicines that you buy without a prescription, or natural medicine medicines you buy without a prescription.
